The Kenwood Senior Living residents are spreading holiday cheer this Christmas Eve by making 200 sandwiches for those in need at The Sandwich Project of Minnesota.

Robinson Brown, Captain, U.S. Amy Reserves honored on Veterans Day at The Kenwood Senior Living Community
Lowry Hill resident Rob Brown received a plaque in recognition of his career in the Army at a special Veterans Day Ceremony at The Kenwood Senior Living Community. Mr. Brown doesn’t often talk about his service, but during our Veterans Day program, his eyes really lit up. You could tell the event brought back so many memories for him.
Open House – Oct. 23

Macalester College Music Professor Mark Mazullo will perform a concert titled “Prisms – A Program of Piano Music,” at 11 a.m. Friday, September 27, 2024, at The Kenwood Senior Living. The public is warmly welcome to attend the free event.
Kenwood Seniors bring home the Gold at Senior Olympics
While athletes were in Paris competing for their country, residents of The Kenwood Senior Living competed at the “Senior Olympics.” Twenty-five residents of the Kenwood competed against each other in various events over the course of a week leading up to the Paris Olympics.

Talking it up with University of Minnesota International students
Twenty International students from the University of Minnesota visited with residents of The Kenwood Senior Living Community. The point is to encourage the Kenwood residents to converse with the students to improve the students’ English-speaking abilities.

Lowry Hill Volunteer Nancy Eustis named Volunteer of the Year
Nancy Eustis has been named “Volunteer of the Year” at a volunteer appreciation social held during National Volunteer Month – April. According to a survey by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), the Minneapolis-St. Paul area ranked first in volunteerism for the entire country. Nancy Eustis is one reason why.
