Diane lived most of her adult life in Florida, where she joined an art association, and enjoyed painting and connecting with other artists. Her daughter Megan remembers, “Her love of painting was all about having fun while being in good company – she never really painted at home, only at the art association. She just painted what made her happy.” Her son Brenden, remembers, “My mother just loved to paint. Her favorite were landscapes. When she would display her paintings at shows she would overprice them in hopes they didn’t sell, only because she didn’t want to see them go. Each painting was special for her. But she still sold a few and it made her happy to know people would hang her art in their homes.”
Diane passed away in 2016. She left behind her mother Electa; sisters Candy, Debbie, and Terri; brother Bruce; husband Larry; children Mike, Brenden, and Megan; and grandchildren Makenzie and Carsen.
