Bi-monthly the Kramer Gallery at The Kenwood highlights the works of local and resident artists. This month we are honored to highlight the work of James Alexander.
Resident and artist James Alexander graduated from Alexander High School in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. He then graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in Art History. He continued on to obtain his B.A. in Art Education. James then taught elementary art at Clara Barton Elementary in Fargo, North Dakota.
He moved back to Minnesota and taught Jr. High art in Minnetonka public schools for 30 more years. He also enjoyed teaching art adult education, drawing, water color, oil painting and photography at Minnetonka High School. Retired for the last 18 years James enjoys spending the time with his cat “Zoro” and making new friends.
