Gerhard grew up in Berlin, Germany. After moving to America he attended University and became a professor of German at the University of Minnesota from 1956 – 1998.
Gerhard has been asked many times about what it was like growing up in Nazi Germany and he has decided to speak about this very subject. Please join us in the Den this Friday, and see through the eyes of a young boy who lived through this terrible time in our history.
