Ralph Hintz has been on the Twin Cities music scene since the 1960s. In addition to his solo
work, for almost 3 decades he has been performing with The Castaways, whose 1965
international hit, “Liar, Liar,” is a true Minnesota rock n’ roll classic. He also plays with Wild
Honey and the Locusts, a 6-piece gospel jazz group. With early country & western influence
from his dad who was a square dance caller, Ralph’s music grew to embrace influences from
The Beatles and other artists of his youth, and over the years has added jazz, swing, and
the songs of many great artists to build his repertoire to cover most any style.
