Our 2019 Walk-N-Rollers have been hard at work all summer putting on those miles and getting their exercise in!  They walked a total of 545 miles and a $218 donation will be made to Gillette Children’s Hospital for their hard work. We celebrate the group and award them with medals on Thursday at 2pm.  If

Your fellow residents have put a lot of time and energy into preparing their own special “Cabaret” performances.  You will learn about their lives and they will share their talents with you. Coached by MacPhail music instructor Joey Clark, you own’t be disappointed in coming to see this event!

Upon Cass’s return from a recent trip to Poland, he will give a talk about his life in Poland, then and now. Takes place in the Den at 1:30pm. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.

The Kenwood’s annual National Night Out EVE celebration with Ice Cream sundaes and music by the ever talented Mouldy Figs.  Join us as we celebrate with friend and family and the local community on August 5th at 6:00pm in front of The Kenwood. The Mouldy Figs are a traditional New Orleans jazz band and beyond

  Each year The Kenwood and the U of M partner up and invite the international students for a visit.  It’s a great way for them to practice their English!   Please contact Brandy if you can volunteer to speak with them during their visit.

  In Loving Memory: We take time to remember our Kenwood friends who are now with us in spirit.   A remembrance service followed by refreshments and fellowship with Chaplain Sue. Located in the Parlor on 2nd Floor. All are welcome to share their stories and to pay their respects.

Diane Lang McAvey Carrington was the third of five daughters born to Tom and Electa Lang. She always had an artistic bent. Her sister Debbie remembers, when in high school, her
