
The Kenwood Senior Living will be filled with the rich sounds of Johann Sebastian Bach’s compositions as part of the Bach Society of Minnesota’s Mobile Mini-Concert series at 12:50 p.m. on Saturday, March 1. Performed by renowned cellist Charles Asch, this program is free and open to the public.
Charles Asch, an accomplished cellist, will showcase his mastery of Bach’s solo cello suites, providing a deeply moving musical experience. He performs as a baroque cellist throughout Minnesota with ensembles including Bach Society of MN, Lyra Baroque Orchestra, and Bach Roots Festival. He obtained his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Minnesota, as well as his Master of Music degree from Juilliard.
The Bach Society of Minnesota’s Mobile Mini-Concerts initiative is designed to make classical music accessible to diverse audiences, particularly those who may have limited opportunities to attend traditional concert settings. These intimate performances foster a sense of community and bring the transformative power of music to individuals in various locations throughout the region.

The Bach Society of Minnesota is dedicated to performing, educating, and promoting the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and related composers. Through concerts, educational programs, and community outreach, the society strives to enrich the cultural landscape of Minnesota.
